Recording the independent timing info for looks would be step towards "timing palettes", though.

Is there a reason to separate bump timing & handle time?
I guess I can think of an example - you want to flash a look using the bump, but also move the handle & have it fade in a preset time.
I think we should make sure that the differences are intuitively clear to users that are used to having one time for both handle moves & the bump button.

I know that with the 500 series consoles I used to run a few shows each year where I setup fade times on the subs and turned the bump mode to latching so that I could hit the bump button (and it would fade up in time) and then slide across the room to the sound console to unmute a microphone. It was quite handy but if I had a choice between time on the fader or time on the bump button, I would choose the fader ever time. As for separate fader and bump times, it's not on my priority list.
