I was working with the Bmp Key setup this morning on the 10.5.22 software, nice. How close are you to putting fade times on Look masters? I look the Bmp time I will use it in shows I run.

I also like the changes to the “System Log Reporter”. Will this report software and hardware problems or anomalies or gust a snap shot of an on line event?

I will turn the guy’s loose on it tomorrow. :)

Do you mean when you move the handle it uses timing? Not sure we're looking at this.

The Log Feedback thing has indeed be handy for us. It's batting 1000 right now at solving problems remotely. It helps us with s/w and h/w issues.

I am in favour of that. With the toggle flashbutton function you cannot see if the sub is on or off. With the fader you can. Also possible to go to half. It is great for smooth fader rides of houselights or the applause cue.
With the 500 you could put a time of 1 second and it rounded off your fader moves real nice.

My opinion is that our current timing is backwards.
If I want to "bump" something, then I would use the "bump" button.

I personally would like to see it work that if you had intricate timing on attributes,
you could run the fader up as fast as you wanted, and it would still adhere to the programmed times.

Even better with independent timing!

totally agree with gooze, I really love the sweet way my houselights fade with time on it. :)

The ability to have an up/down time on a handle was a lamp saver on the 520i’s. I our studios the temp in the studios when not in use is about 65 deg. When the floor manger comes in to bring up the set lights for camera checks or the show, all that heat on a cold lamp cuts there life buy about half.. It also can takeout the lens on a Fresnel if it has a flaw in it.
Don’t get me wrong I like the time on the bmp’s too, the ability to apply it too a handle would be nice.

:added: FS#1442 - add handle timing column in looks display
(all attributes will use bump or handle timing as times are not recorded on attributes on looks (i.e., no ind. timing))

Timing on subs is something that was talked about a while back. In fact, I was talking to Gary about it yesterday. Glad it is finally on the list.
