Classic Palette II: How do you select different submaster pages to be controlled by the slider panels? Thanks.

You select them from the dropdown menu next to the virtual submasters on your screen. When recording them you select to which page you wish to record.

Thanks, I didn't even realize one could get all the virtual subs up there at the top. You can tell I'm new here. Very helpful. Looks like you can add labels also- nice.

Related question. I'm used to having hard sliders labeled with tape and marker, etc. Looks like with the Classic Palette, there is not much room for tape. What is normally done for identifying the physical sliders? Is it fairly easy to get used to the above virtual slider labels, or, as I'm thinking, is it a bit awkward to have to look on screen and then down to the board? Or do you end up just using the virtual sliders instead?? Thanks.

My M1-M12 keys do not seem to work as soft keys for selecting the soft key bubbles with green text (row above the S1-S12 soft key bubbles). However, using the "Alt" with the S1-S12 keys seems to do this. So that method is also helpful. Thanks.

Is this discrepancy due to software updates?

I'm not familiar with Macros, which the "M1-M12" keys seem to be used for. Briefly, what are Macros and when are they useful?

It might be better to start a new topic on this... but if I were you I would have a look at the video's of John Grimshaw. In there it is better explained then in the manual.

Gooze & Golights- The videos are indeed well done and very helpful. This should reduce my questions, at least for a spell... Thanks!
