Encoder Wing Panel

Does the Marquee Encoder Wing Panel (which seems to be still available through etdimming.com) work with either the Off-line Editor or the original silver Classic Palette?

Unfortunately no.

The Palette series uses USB panels.
The Encoder WIng Panel sits on an I2C bus.

The LightPalette uses the same architecture, a single USB device,
and I2C panels plugged in to it.

so...is there an add-on control surface which can be used to add encoders and/or other controls to a, for example, sub palette?

In theory, it would be pretty easy for Strand to implement a suite of hardware options. All it takes is for users to keep hammering on Strand's door with the requests.

The two panels I would like to see:
- Encoder Panel (like the VL16/64 series)
- 32/48 fader sub wing
...and for more entertainment industry trivia and useless facts, just ask:

I'm with you on that one John. A rotary encoder wing would save a lot of people with first generation Classics moving to other brands.
Let's just use the 23
