Palette wireless remote

Post by shade4 » Mon Dec 08, 2008 11:04 am

Is the Palette wireless remote software available to download like the 500 series remote software is?

Cheers,

Scotty.

It's part of the Off-line editor software download. Run the install-software and check the rfu box.

We are treating the RFU software differently than we did with the 300/500 series consoles and not posting on the website. Strand is only selling Symbol/Motorola PDA's and not providing the software for other manufacturers PDA's. Previously with the 300/500 RFU's, our Tech Support team at Strand spent a lot of unnecessary time on the phone resolving (or trying to resolve) WiFi issues on products that we never sold. We are very familiar with the Symbol/Motorola PDA's and AP's and confident with their stability and signal strength.

I think I must add that, the software that is included in the off-line editor software installation is just for reviewing purposes and runs on a pc. You can see what it does though if your pc and strand-network has Wifi. It is not supported by Strand.

In answer to my own question Tom has come up with a great app which looks like it will do everything that I'm looking for - check out viewtopic.php?f=34&t=1571&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
