I'm currently using the console Light Palette Classic Palette with software OS v3.4.15 so I have to how to update on the V 10.4.12 you can step-by-step instructions are not

You update by putting the Console software on a memorystick, put that memorystick into a free usb-port of the lighting desk and restart the desk. It will ask you if you want to update the software.
You will also have to update the Windows control panel (Shell)
You can do that by going to the Control Panel [S4]
Click on the windows filemanager icon

and drag the shell updater to D:\
Again restart the desk.

Please copy the EXE to Public D:\ and REMOVE the USB stick BEFORE rebooting the console.

If this techinique is used, there will be a copy of ALL files you have ever installed in "Saved Installs".

Reverting if necessary is as easy as copying the file from Saved Installs back to D:\Public and rebooting.

I am in doubt now. I have updated the console like this quite a few times and there appears to be a copy of the old installs in the saved installs folder. I was really happy about the ease of updating...
