Fanning Color

Post by DebraCecil » Fri Jul 25, 2008 6:31 pm

How can you fan color on a fixture with a color wheel or using the fan tool?

I was able to manually fan a CMY fixture by setting a color range through command line, but there has to be a better way. The manual really only covers fanning pan and tilt. When I attempted to use the fan tool with the fixtures, I continually fanned the intensity.

If you want to use the command line to fan, say, a colour wheel, type the following

[1] [Thru] [10] [S6-Color] [S2-Color Select] [1] [-] [10] [Enter]

If you have a ML with 10 colours in its wheel, each light will be in a different colour.

You can also use the FAN TOOL (Shift Tools or Shift T then S7-Fan). See http://www.horizoncontrol.com/mqhelp/mq ... anning.htm

See Rob... I already figured out the keystrokes, you saw it. Could you make the tool work for you?
