Magic Update anyone?

Could someone explain the syntax (In the 500 GP Personality) for Magic Update? Is it [UPDATE][S5][Enter]? To update all the positions you adjusted in the right positionlooks? Or if you set your groupkey to the position lookpage could it be: [UPDATE][GROUP][Enter]? Or are the positionlook automatical...

Label Position looks from commandline (CP)

If you have set the group-key to map to the postion lookpage, you should be able to type: [GROUP]#{Label} Now you aren’t.

Release after adjusting and storing position look

If you have a cue with some movinglights in a positionpalette and you wuld have to adjust the moving lights, there is something not completely right on the display side of things. As you adjust the lights, the name of the positionlook disapears and is replaced by the degrees for pan and tilt. You ar...

Workspace not properly strored

Column width and workspace (having the effects window open i.e.) are not saved and return to standard on opening a new show or the same show or restarting the console. I think even the channelgrid settings are not stored. I had it at 15 across, then re-opened the show and it was 20 across (I think)....

Stopping an effect in a cue

I didn’t succeed to stop an effect which is stored in a cue without deleting the cue. I can release the effect, I can stop it but it doesn’t dissapear. The help-file isn’t really useful here. I did exactely as described: You are in a recorded state. Thus meaning you are situated in a cue or look sta...

Rate on effects

One of the things that isn’t really compiant with the idea of the abstract control model, are the values you see when you are editing an effect. The rate and scale are in percentage and the span is in degrees. I think this could be closer to real-life values. Like beats-per-minute/Hz (like with the ...

Re: @Time - syntax issues

Maybe it's just a bad habit, but I keep doing it. If it can be supported, I think it should be.
I am not sure of the use of the [.], I always used the [*] or [Enter], wich would be more in line with the other knockout functions.

Re: Save show weirdness

There was nothing on the stick anymore, nothing on any other drive other than savedinstalls. It gets worse, but also more clear. This morning I started he desk and it started with a crash, just after the Palette splash screen. It said it was making a dump file, but I cannot find it. After a restart ...

Keyboard stops working

Sometimes the keyboard stops working on [CUE]{Label}-syntax (without cue-number) It stops completely for a while and then works again without restarting the software.
