Re: Fading while fading

What Bobby describes is the horrible behavior of many a preset console - Press GO before a cue completes and we snap to the end of the first cue so we can execute the second. Yuck. Still less confusing than the console(name of which long ago lost) which had a GO/STOP and a BACK instead of a GO and S...

Re: 10.8.4 Fade Time on Tool Palettes

Take a look at setting your cross faders to "Captured In Time and Release Time". This may give you the affect you are looking for. This is found under Hardware Setup - [F8]A/B C/D.

Re: Next / Last within Selection

Shift Last is a real trick on the OLE - Shift Shift Tab ???

I really don't see the need for a new keystroke just a refinement of the operation of the one we have.

Re: Bump Chase Broken 10.8.3

I agree with Matt - there is something very strange going with this - the difference between STEP, ASSERT and GO for cues with Bump chases is very strange. It gets stranger if the bump chase is part of the first cue and there are no other channels on... Let us know if you need more samples of the od...

Re: Classic Palette v1 (Admin, Lumi Profile, and Channel Upgrade

The fixture library questions should be directed to support@hirizoncontrol.com. If the fixture you have is not in the library and you can provide the correct profile information for the fixture, the turn-around to get you an updated library is typically less that 24 hours. There should be no issue w...

Next / Last within Selection

This may have been discussed before but it would be very handy to be able to use Next / Last to move between fixtures in a selection especially with the highlight tool. This would make for a very fast means of tweaking the members of groups. You could select the group. And then using Next / Last adj...

Re: In Blind Recording Look(Gr/P/C..)

In blind one would hope the default record would be for the currently "blinded" page/list.

Fan with palettes 10.8.3

When I use the fan tool on a selection of fixtures set to a Palette the tool fails. If I set the fixtures to the same position using hard values the tool works as expected. For example, create a position palette and point the four fixtures are the same spot on stage(choose a spot so the pan values f...

Re: Question Concerning Moving Light Profiles

In playing with this it seems that Strobe isn't even settable from the command line. You are forced to the pop-up. Not friendly. I wouldn't expect to be able to say "Fast Rnd" from the command line but 5 Hz seems reasonable.

New syntax - attribute [thru] attribute

There are times it would be really great to be able to enter values for more than one attribute at a time - think shutters. I realize one can hold multiple S-keys and roll the wheel but so far there is no command line syntax for this. The Plus key is already reserved for Relative adjustments which a...
