Multi Part Fixtures

I ran in to an issue with a fixture in the library. Normally I wouldn't post this here but it points to an issue I have with the fixture Library. The problem I had was with the Right Arm in mode 6 with a Sea Changer and Iris. What I found was that I could not address the Iris even though it is part ...

Re: HC. The list - and questions about it.

Attached is the list in Excel. I started when it came out but this post reminded me to finish it. I also tried to denote changes in the list. Let me know if I need to make any corrections.

Release Notes

If you haven't read them the release notes for 10.6.1 are very useful in explaining the changes that have been made. I would like to thank Bobby for putting them together and incorporating screen shoots. Nice work. Hopefully this will be the new format.

Re: Ribbon Bar...

I agree with Taine. I had an entire console surface die and only had a mouse to use. It wasn't the quickest process but it was very handy. It also makes it easy for entry level customer that predominantly uses the mouse under UI to keep to an environment they are uses to with very little change.

Re: PixelMapper available to play with

Although VARI*LITE is the best fixture on the planet, they don't dissolve between gobos. ;)
They do if the gobos are in two different wheels and a twidle of the focus button :D

Re: PixelMapper available to play with

Attached is 20x10 DXF. This makes it easy to see what the Pixel Mapper is doing on the screen.

Robert,

Is there a way to dissolve from one image to another or do I have to fade the image out then change image and fade back up?

Re: VL-16 trackball as Mouse on shutdown

The issue is that the Track ball is console hardware not a Windows trackball. When the console software is shutdown the Trackball is not supported just like all the other console hardware.

Re: Configuring N21 DMX Nodes from the console

Depending on the image on the hard drive fire fox may already be installed. Look under additional applications on the control panel. It is located toward the bottom center of the control panel box. It looks like a file folder. If you do not have it installed contact your local service center and see...
