Re: 10.6.6 Apollo right arms getting lost

I would look at the right arm being the issue. Not that the Right Arm isn't working but it may not be setup properly. Getting the weight and counterbalance set correctly is very important. If it is heavy in one direction it may cause the unit to loose its position when it tilts in one direction and ...

Re: LP VL:systeme load and no signal video after

The 020 processor can support a LCD display. When it does not see the VGA it then goes to the LCD display. Because the LCD is not being used no display. ctrl+alt+f1 forces the VGA port on.

If the console in question has a new 040 or 050 processor please let support at horizon control know.

Re: Palette OSv10 User Manual

Currently there is only one operation manual for the whole range. All of the consoles run the exact same software. There are specific setup and installation guides for the various consoles.

Re: 10.6.4 Quick Start Guide

Maybe "compress" would be a better choice.

Re: 10.6.4 Scrwed up my board

Several quick tips to try. 1. Down grade to 10.6.2 and see if the tiles come back to life 2. Check and see where items are plugged into in the internal USB hub. The problem could be the hub itself. The internal hub has six ports. The 3 on the left hand side are one hub and the 3 on the right are ano...

Re: 10.6.4 update issue

Another explanation for tiles going off line and not returning till a reboot or power cycle is the use of the floppy disk drive power supply. This would only effect silver palette, console playback tiles, that have a connector wired and attached. The issue is that the pcb can be powered from two sou...

Re: In the Look type add GM1/GM2 option

The real power of the GM1 and GM2 on the 300/500 series were the GM1/GM2 groups. By default all channels were included but they could be edited to only include what you wanted. Very similar to an Inhibitive but not tied to the DBO buttons.

Re: USB DMX IN

Gary,

I just check the console with a DMXter in two scene mode and it is only outputting 12 channels. In single scene mode the console outputs 24 channels. If you need any additional information let me know and I would be glad to post it .

Re: USB DMX IN

The 100 is a bit of an odd creature. If it is in 2 scene mode it only has to send data for 12 dimmers. Because of the small amount of data it has a very high refresh rate. Many DMX devices do not like a fast refresh rate. On many devises this can be helped by patching a dimmer in the 500 range. Unfo...
