Does it show a single disconnect when it happens?

The log should show it "finding" the panel, and then later removing it.

Have a look at the system logs (text files on the D Drive). Pick a log that would have happended when the system went funny, and look inside. You should be able to see the panel "disconnect". If you see it continually disconnecting and reconnecting, get service support. At tleast this will give you ...
