Re: Mark M-key

Just to be clear - part z by itself is not magic. You are free to build a cue with part z any time (and it's won't do anything magic).

Our MARK command puts magic into the fixtures and we put those fixture into part z just so it's easy to identify as a mark and easy to apply timing to as well.

Re: Mark M-key

Say Q1 light is on In Q2 it fades out In Q3 it tracks out Q10 it moves to a new position and fades up. So... you want to mark it in, say, Q5 (because that Q normally has applause). [leading chan list] [MARK] [5] [Enter] Q 5 now has a part Z (where you can change the fade time if you want). If Q10 ch...

selective remove of ind. times

OK - I've got to say this is very powerful and nobody will ever find it unless they've been told:

[1] [THRU] [5] [Cue] [10] [THRU] [20] [Time] [S12 Remove Ind. Timing] removes independent timing for just the selected channels through the cue range

+ Record

in 134 we've added the syntax [+] [Rec] I love this If you have a bunch of things deltaed, then someone asks for one thing to go to a level, you can type it, change it then do a [+] [Rec] and it takes the current selection set and does a Selective Record. No need to type the range again. How would y...

Re: CMY vs RGB vs HSI fading

I'm not sure, but I think the HogIII always fades in the HSI colour space. We allow you to fade in six colour spaces. CMY and RGB crossfades always look the same on the stage. HSL crossfades fade through the rainbow if you leave S the same. HSL' fades backwards through the rainbow and wraps around t...

Re: FX demo show file (living)

I've updated it with some suggestions from Alan. I encourage others to change the file and re-post. I want this file to live and grow.

Thanx

FX demo show file (living)

Always d/l the most recent file nearer the end of this thread

Attached is a demo show that gives some examples of what you can do with FX. It makes good use of HC.MessageBox too.

I'd love to see people d/l this file and add cue lists to it and u/l it again.
