Re: (exe) picture mixer

You could use the
Generic Pixel Mapper HCI
"fixture" that is in the library.
It has quite a few attributes.

As far as resolution, you should be getting values to 3 decimal places in your returns from Palette.
All attributes fade to 3 decimal places.

Re: Colour wheel function

If you hold Shift wheel adjusting the color, it will allow you to scroll all the
way through the wheel from color to color.
To get back to a whole color, either type in a slot number,
or use the "big popup" to select a color.

Re: 10.8.2 effects

Sounds like you have recorded hard values for the channels involved,
instead of just letting them track.

Re: Sync Live Band to Lights

Click track is not a bad idea at all.
You can have the Windows Media Player in Palette play an MP3 file,
then set one of your cue list to timecode from the media player.
You could lay down the track with a mono music track on one side, and a click on the other,
then send the one side to the drummer.

If you are switching from MQ to Palette,
file conversion is not a problem.
Just email your shows to:

Re: Colour FX

Unfortunately no, and it is something that I requested for the list a long time ago.

But what your doing sounds to me like nothing other than 2 cues with fanned independednt wait and fade times between all the fixtures.
1 cue opens the "blind", one cue closes it.

Did PaletteOS OLE not install properly?
All necessary shortcuts are located in

Re: on effect : move levels on channels in

You are not going to be able to interact with the running effect from a different handle,
you will just take control of them from a static standpoint.
but you should be seeing the effect scale itself as you move the handle of the sub you recorded it on up and down.

Re: copying from cues

What you are doing is not copying.
You are applying values as palettes, that reference that cue.
So when the cue goes away, there is no more reference.
