Re: V10.1

This is one of those things "on the list".

In later releases, "template shows" will provide an option.

But I do agree, when I do "File | New",
the software should default to the number of channels avilable.

Re: Christie Digital

Hey Terry, That is pretty good. A few questions. 1. Is the slider lock defaulted to "lock" or "unlock". (From what I read "unlock" is proabbly best, that way the control power is accessible with no fuss.) 2. Lens Zoom range in degrees? (IE: 10 to 30 degrees, etc.) 3. Lens Pan and tilt range? (IE: + ...

Re: Christie Digital

I can build a library for it if you desire.

Just forward detailed DMX information to:
support@horizoncontrol.com

Best bet is the entire manual, this way if it has things like a zoom range, etc.,
It can be noted. DMX charts alone rarely have the information needed to build a library.

Re: rfu appearence

Gary is in the middle of an overhaul to match the "look",
but as you can imagine, it is fairly low on the priority list,
since the current version does "work" for the most part.

Re: Times range

Yeah, I think what happened is you mixed up the meaning of the / and "To".

I can't stand on either side of the fence with your argument,
unfortunately the / means what it means throughout the software.

Syntax Wait / Fade has its fingers in all fade times.

Re: Times range

The syntax is always
Fixtures @ wait range / fade time range.

You are correct, once you enter the /, you are stuck in the fade time range.
has to be one chunk as described below:

1 Thru 12 @ 1 To 10 / 10 To 0.1 Enter

Re: Times range

You can use any time range you wish, from High to low, etc.
You can also do ranging on either side of the /.

IE:
1 Thru 12 @ 0 To 10 / 20 to 0.5

Re: Predictive Command Line

I was referring to saving the extra step.
Very easy command line interpretation if the user begins typing text instead of numbers.

The "Position", or "Color", keys etc. (softkeys on OLE and CP, buttons and softkeys on LP),
just points the command line into the right palettes.

Re: Update...

Is what you are describing different from what we already have with "Fixture Offset"? It is under "Tools", you can do what you describe if I read correctly. It is on the 2nd page of Tools, so you'll need hit "S12 (More)". You can put the fixture at +5 Pan, +1.2 on Tilt, stor the Fixture Offset, then...

Re: Control Channels

Not sure if it is "better" so to speak.

But the channels "expire" at a predetermined date.
