I agree that we need something here. I would love to see a magic update (like the Shift Update window) but it needs to work after the light is placed in the palette not just after it is recorded into a cue.

We have a fix for this. In order to install the fix, the drive must be reimaged and requires a service call. Please contact Rob Hillig and/or David Park at the Strand factory in California to discuss details.

Another way to do it is to delta the channels that the effect are controlling then Record Live. A nice byproduct of this approach is that you can knockout only the channels that you want to stop running from the effect. Actually I misspoke here when I said this was coming in the next version. I was thinking about a different conversion protocol. I don't have an answer for you now but we are discussing it.
