Re: Arghhhhhhh Somebody help please

If you're still having problems you can read through a previous thread on display issues here: http://www.strand-dev.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2822 Also, Ctrl+Alt+F1 will force the VGA outputs to be on, so if you've switched your main display and can't get it back, it should help you restore i...

Re: 10.8.6 Import show doesn't import (all) effects

Ran into this last night, imported 3 look pages of effects and none of the effects actually showed up. This did work at some point, right? Wasn't it fixed when the "copy cue/look with effects" bug was fixed?

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

I can probably save you some trouble with trying to make a macro to switch between look pages on subs, I've tried it and never got it to work. And unfortunately when you have active subs and you switch pages, the active subs aren't going to change. Without automated faders like on digital audio cons...

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

Maybe I should clarify the load syntax: When you use Load, as far as I know the 5x5 century array buttons will not put the anything on the command line. You need to press [Load] [Look] [#]. This defaults to your submasters. If you need to get to a different look page, press [Load] [Look] [S2 - Look ...

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

I've run into this before a few times. The only way I've been able to get it to record the action into the cue is to use the Load function instead of using the bump button or submaster. This will load all of the values from the look along with the action, similar to capturing those channels and crea...

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

It sounds like that look page is set to "Apply Attributes" in the Century Array setup in Hardware Options. You'll need to change it to "Bump Look". I don't think you can actually modify the setting for what's on the century array, so you'll probably need to add a the look page to the array with Bump...

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

Yeah, Live+Sub doesn't work with effects, it grabs the current state of the effect and not the action. Use Record Delta and you should be good.

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

Something else I just thought of: If you're using Record-Live it won't record the effect. If you do all the steps you described, press Record, then press Record Mode (S3 I believe) and select Delta, it should record the effect into the look. It may save you a step compared to recording and then goin...

Re: Question about Saving Macros to the Pallet

Try the steps you described, but instead of creating a ballyhoo effect on position actually record a position into the look you're recording. If you want the home position you can either tweak the wheel 1 degree and then back, or select the units -> position -> force delta. Once that's done, clear e...

Re: N21 node used as network input

I've done multiple universes (and small sections of universes) both in and out with a single N21 node before without any problem. I've never seen an issue like this before. I'm guessing that since you said this setup has worked before, all of the netslot & priority info is set the way it should be. ...
