Re: DMX In

Hardware DMX in has been moved much higher on the priority list. As for the lag -- it was not evident for Brennan during training, so it's worth investigating what the source is. Could be duplicate data on the network -- which could be caused by a number of factors -- the access points being 1. It c...

Re: Multiple Consoles

In general, noticeable lag is not caused by the switch itself -- especially switches at the level of the HP ProCurve. The time it takes for a packet to transit a switch is generally <1us, which you would never see. The place where lags are introduced can be some or all of the following: 1) Bad patch...

Re: HC.UIMacro issue

The problem is a complex one. The issue is that all of the macro/script commands run in a single function inside the main loop. Unfortunately this means that in the middle of the command we can't update the softkeys -- which also happens somewhere else in the main loop. To fix the problem we would h...

Re: sub-Palette time controls

Just trying to filter out the issue:

When the AB/CD faders are in TIME mode they're backwards? Left should be A(top), Right Should be B(bottom)?

If this is the case I will fix it for 10.6.3. Randy, have you tried this with any of the Betas beyond 10.6.2?

Re: 10.6.2 Update Issue

Did you download from the web directly to the console? IE leaves stuff behind if the download doesn't complete -- so it may have been a failure on IE's part . IE downloads to a temp file and then copies the data to the real file when it's finished grabbing everything from the web, and you may have k...

Re: Playback Slider Causes Unwanted Dead Blackouts!

Looking even deeper yet I've managed to reproduce it on a PVL16. Here are the steps to reproduce: 1) Shut down the software 2) Set the AB faders both to the top (100%) position 3) Start the software 4) Move only fader B The Playback master will drop to 0 if fader B is the first of the AB faders to m...
