Re: Palette OLE 10.6.3 program crash

It's likely this is a permissions problem, or a problem with the Locale (Language) being used in that particular copy of XP. Try setting the locale of the machine to EN-US and ensuring that the user that is installing has FULL administrator rights. It's also important that the folder being installed...

Re: Is this a mistake??

You only need one of the routes. You can delete or disable one.

Can you give me details on how the second route came to be? Did you import from an SSF file or load the patch from an old show?

Thanks.

Re: USB DMX IN

12 dimmers only would violate the DMX spec -- are you sure it isn't 24 ( minimum packet size ?) The palette/quad boards won't have an issue with the short DMX packet at a high refresh rate -- I've determined today that the 10.6.2011 software configures the DMX input incorrectly ( I can tell the pane...

Re: USB DMX IN

Thank you for clarifying -- I'll take a look at the DMX in code to make sure it sends the software levels as often as possible!

Re: USB DMX IN

TO clarify -- some shownet devices like the 300 console send non-changing DMX levels at very long intervals. Palette has been tested to perform correctly with idle Shownet from the N21, SN110( Latest version only) , Pathport nodes (2-port only) and the 500 series of desks. The 300 is problematic. Ot...

Re: MIDI note sent on update

Rather than prevent the macro on reassert globally ( Since this can be useful under other circumstances) , I think it would be better for the script on the cue to check to see if the current cue number being asserted is different than the last cue number run. This can be done by declaring a global '...

Re: Cue List Type "Chase" clears tracked values v.10.6.2

Looking at the patch issues, the patch in the posted show has 71000 outputs defined. This will be the cause of the sluggish load of patch. This number (in the top left of the patch screen) auto-increments when you patch to an output - so I'm guessing there was a finger-failure when patching that put...

Re: Pocket Palette Crashing

The subs panel of the RFU has been completely re-written over the last month or so.

Version 3.0.3.6 is in testing. It should no longer exhibit this problem.

Re: @ group 10.6.2 (on console)

This is a long standing bug with the group key.

Group is funny because it can be a reference to a selection set and a reference to a group object. Because of this, and the way the command line works internally, there are a few edge cases where it behaves oddly.

I believe this could be better.
