Re: Block cue question

Looking deeper -- I see that the cues are not block cues. The dashed lines show that there is redundant data in the cues but they aren't technically blocks. Can you describe the history of the cues for me? How were they recorded, did you block them, and were they at some point updated? I'm trying to...

Re: Block cue question

Is it possible you did a Cue List Only block --then added fixtures to the cue list later?

Re: (exe) Motion Go

This is very cool.

Reminds me of a security package I've used for Linux called ZoneMinder (zoneminder.com) . Cool Video diff-ing.

I never thought it would be used to trigger cues, but it's still cool -- especially for architectural applications.

Nice work!

Re: windows 7

This may be because you are in French locale on Windows 7.

Make sure by clicking the mouse into the command line and then trying ASERTY keyboard control.

Re: windows 7

Windows 7, 32 bit works right now. The FIRST time you run the OLE, you must run as Administrator. After that you can run normally.

64 bit support will come in the future.

Re: 10.6.2 Lags and Crashes

It's definitely a good thing to restart the console once a week. Judging by the errors posted, the system has encountered a problem with a long uptime. As for the upgrade 10.6.6 is in testing now -- which remedies the 10.6.4 key press issues. However, the LighPalette range of consoles is not affecte...

Re: Cyc as RGB+W

..and as a response to Robert's post and the original title of this thread, the new CCT mode for color mix does indeed automatically include Amber and White sources (if available ) to arrive at CCT White.

Re: iPhone Riggers Remote

If you're looking for iPhone CSS/HTML UI toolkits I've been looking at

iUI (nice but no documentation)

http://code.google.com/p/iui/

and iWebKit (nice!)

http://iwebkit.net/

These use the special safari only CSS to make things look an awful lot like a full app.

Re: iPhone Riggers Remote

Yes, Apache is big, and perhaps not the right choice ( it's the easy one as I'm VERY familiar with it). All things considered, it really doesn't chew up that many resources depending on the configuration, and would bring a wealth of new open source (and other) possibilities to the table for Palette....

Re: DMX in rant

FIrstly, DMX is NOT DMX. Not all DMX is created equal. There's enough variance in the standard that many bits of gear that claim compliance do not actually comply with all versions of the standard, or all of the possible timing variations. The DMX/1990 standard is very different than the current spe...
