Re: (HTML JS) mote lite - webapp remote

I saw Miles Dudgen from Wybron do this scrollers (tilting his laptop would scroll the colours). :ugeek: Sounds like the laptop in question was a Mac? If I recall correctly certain MacBooks have a tilt sensor in them... (Original design: Hard drive protection... Current use: Lightsaber noises) Also....

Re: F.Y.I

Ditto, records fine for me.

I have had this happen in the past however, if you 'bump' before the dialog box has taken focus... Resulting in the bump getting locked in, and the record not happening.

Re: 2 scrollers : 1 channel number

Under 'Fixture Type' choose "Generic" instead of 'Scroller Dimmer' and then choose a "2 Color Scroller" Patch the DMX address of the first scroller to Addr 1. The second scroller must be the next DMX address. IE: Chan/Fixture 1 Dimmer Int: 1.1 (1) Type: 2 Color Scroller Addr 1: 1.2 (2) This would cr...

Re: Submaster functionality

Personally, I prefer to record my 'max' values... And if I happen to tap the release key while the sub I just recorded is at less than max value, I expect to see a SNAP live on stage, as the sub re-asserts itself. (I did just [Rel] all my LIVE data, after all...) Therefore... If I have 1 thru 5 reco...

Re: Enttec artnet to dmx

I've toyed around with Enttec products before, they are fairly robust. Never used this specifically, though I believe it is based on the OpenDMX Project. The link you provided is the one that requires an external power supply... Upgrading to the Power Over Ethernet (POE) model, raises the cost to $2...

Re: HC. The list - and questions about it.

Of course, personally I'd password protect my wireless network. Preferably WPA as opposed to WEP encryption. :D Being able to restrict IP addresses is handy, until someone who is unfamiliar with TCP/IP settings comes along... (Though, arguably, these people shouldn't be using Telnet...) As for LAN s...

Re: lightpalette owner question

there is a Prev/Next button directly above the Levels/Time button. This button is redundant as those functions are on another keypad as 2 separate keys - one for Previous and one for Next. In my experience, at least in the past, not quite so... The Prev/Next key will only skim through 'Intelligent ...
