Does this mean proper upgrade/downgrade of tile firmware is now handled by the software install? In the past a downgrade sometimes presented "issues". I'll try again... Mostly downgrading the tiles should work ok... but should be unnecessary since there has been no changes to the tile software inte...

Unfortunately, absolutely. Especially if they are using DMX out of the console, what's the harm in plugging it into the campus-wide network? That's the mentality of lots of folks today.

And from what we've seen Vista has a variety of screen refresh issues.
Supposedly some may be addressed with the upcoming service pack 1 for Vista.

Don't forget Brian that they can do a TEXT MATCH on Positon palettes just like you can on Color Palettes. Also S12 softkey is SELECT. If you press S12-S12, you get the prvious selection set. I can imagine why it doesn't show you what it marking for (this is figured out with GO), but it could show you that it is marked. This implies that Part Z is a "magic MIB" part, right? Complete with a magic look ahead feature. To expand on Robert's comments. It turns out that the fixtures are tagged as Mark, not the part.
