Re: P/T mode problems

John - already on the list to have a default movement mode (just like a default color space) in show options.

The hardware does support it. We are more interested in ACN than RDM. What hit it for me was when I walked in Wybron's booth at the show and they started a "discover" and 2-3 minutes later it was still doing it's thing. It's great if you have devices that support it, but outside of Wybron scrollers,...

Re: Save show weirdness

If the software update was on your key, that was why it was installed again.
When it's on D:\, we simply move it to SavedInstalls. When it's on a key, we don't like to delete it.
Regarding the other issues, can't immediately comment.

Re: Control Channels

James: Welcome. Good post, very thought provoking. A few comments. (as to how to enforce that a show file is only used for one show, now that's another kettle of fish...!) You've correctly identified the problem -- what constitutes "a show"? The patch? Not if it's touring. The fixtures? Not if it's ...

Re: Update...

I believe this is not limited to pan and tilt either - ie. if the lights end up rigged a bit further away you could correct the iris or zoom settings so that the lights still ended up being the right size. Rob is exactly correct, it can be applied to any numerically linear attribute (zoom, iris, fo...
