Re: look type on grid look

We have an on-going struggle with information overload on the screen (often thought of by me as the "Christmas tree" problem), especially with color, etc.
We're trying to do better but wanted to start and add slowly as there are lots of potential things that could be added.
Thanks for your patience.

Re: V10.1 , DMX 512

Follow-up ... we have a potential fix that we are testing now. If all goes well overnight, we'll likely do a beta build of it tomorrow (Friday) so any beta testers who are interested can let it burn in over the weekend with their dmx-ter attached. If all goes well, we'd likely release early next week.

Unfortunately things are so confusing, convoluted and if you place one character wrong, the whole thing breaks. It's worse ...

Re: captured fixtures

I share Robert's concern of always wanting that behavior vs. wanting it for "just the next go".

Re: Profiles in patch

If you unpatch a light, you should automatically get rid of any assigned profiles (on the output side, not on the fixture side) This doesn’t happen right now, but it definately should! ...and then... Of course, I'll be difficult and say that I want to apply profiles t...

Re: Magic Update anyone?

When will command line magic update be back? As soon as the elves in Santa's workshop get back from winter holiday? Ok, seriously, our post V10 release cleanup list is "rather fluid" right now as we sort through pending issues that were put on hold. We'll have a better handle on it shortly and (as ...

Re: Other timefields

John - this one is a "slippery slope" ... what would it mean to crossfade from 5 HZ strobe to the value (that exists on some fixtures) of "Ramp Open Snap Shut" ?
I understand you probably are viewing "Open" as "0Hz" ... or is "Closed" "0Hz"...
