moving light effects

The effects like ballyhoo and can-can for moving lights... are they still there and how do you get to them? I thought they used to pop up when you capture the fixtures and press the effects softkey. thanks!

Re: copying i-light attributes

Thanks Gooze. All I need is one way that works.
Not sure why Robert suggested COPY unless he was deliberately misleading me. :P

Please explain the Apply Palette though; I don't understand that yet at all.

Re: copying i-light attributes

Sorry, forgot to mention..I am using 10.6.2. It came out since I started this thread, but still have the same issues. When I get back to the console (day off today) I'll try again and write down my keystrokes. The Select Captured Attributes apparently is supposed to do this, I just have to figure ou...

Re: copying i-light attributes

Gooze, I am open to using tracking, and sometimes I do when we are writing cues in order. But once the show is written and we are mostly jumping around editing, I find it safer to switch to cue only. I really hope I can figure this out in the next week or so, before our next show... seriously consid...

Re: copying i-light attributes

If you want to copy the colour from the previous cue, you could just knockout the colour, by typing chans[Enter]{S6 - Colour}[Enter][Update][Enter] I'm not at the console now, but is this a different softkey than the Color one which pops up with a box with the color you're in highlighted? And if kn...

Re: copying i-light attributes

Gooze, are you suggesting I should switch to tracking mode when I'm working on i-lights? They're only, maybe 5% of my rig and most of the changes I'm making I don't want to track.
Will Copy and Select Captured Attributes work if I switch to tracking?

Re: 10.6.2 updating cues

OK, I guess there is no way to do this. As a work-around I'll have to type in channel levels instead of using subs whenever I need to update a cue that has an effect in the previous cue.
It seems 10.6.2 is actually making things more difficult.

Re: copying i-light attributes

So here's what I tried:

111 thru 122 Enter (these are the scrollers)
Copy
on the popup box, I click Attributes, and get the popup with the attribute checkboxes.
I check Color
OK to close that box
OK to close the Copy box
Go to next cue... but the color rolls out. What am I doing wrong? thank you.

Re: copying i-light attributes

Thank you Robert, I can get to the release notes now. Bobby, please help me get what you suggested to work. I select the fixtures (i. e. scrollers) that I want to copy into the next cue, click Select then Captured Attributes. Then I proceed to the next cue, and the scrollers don't hold on to anythin...
