copying from cues

I have been copying attributes and levels from cues quite a lot this week, using Channel #s at Cue # Enter, Update. The problem occurs when the lighting designer later deletes the cue I copied from! The values I had recorded then are just missing and go to zero. Please forgive me if you are already ...

Re: DMX iris profile?

Thanks, guys. I had it addressed properly all along. After some troubleshooting, it seems that they did not like being in the second universe. Switching to the first universe and readdressing got them working, although I can't say I understand it. I tried swapping with the RightARms and putting them...

DMX iris profile?

Hi guys. The lighting designer has brought over two Rosco DMX Irises, which I have not used before, to use in Apollo Right Arms. I have a silver Palette. The irises have separate addresses, and I patched them using the "Apollo Right Arm Mode Six Iris" profile. I did not see a profile specifically fo...

Re: GO button locked

Thank you Robert! That's encouraging. Are you suspecting that issue (missed keys) is related to losing the GO button? (actually the entire left side, as I described.) I have been considering these as two different issues (contrary to Occam's razor :? ). It still seems inconclusive whether the hardwa...

Re: GO button locked

This happened again today, at approximately 1:25 pm. We had not yet opened the house, so I was able to reboot the console. There were only 2 logs with today's date, attached. When I attempted to shut down, I got the "system is not responding" message; I clicked End Program which resulted in blue scr...

Re: 10.6.4 update issue

Does it show a single disconnect when it happens? The log should show it "finding" the panel, and then later removing it. I sent my logs for the day it happened to Horizon, and Gary emailed me that in all the logs he saw both tiles come online and stay that way. There were four logs for that date, ...

Re: 10.6.4 update issue

Is there any other possible explanation? There seems to be no evidence of the disconnect/reconnect loop in the logs from my console for the day this last happened.
And if it's the same thing that happened to me it's not neccessarily related to 10.6.4 since both times I was running 10.6.2.

Re: GO button locked

About the Click to Send file... I just get an application error message when I click it. And I was not allowed to post the executable file on the forum. I have it on my desktop though. Debra, when you refer to the tile rebooting, is that the same as the disconnecting/connecting that John described? ...

Re: GO button locked

OK, I need more help finding the log files. I looked on the D drive and I only see show files, show archives, or saved installs. Can anyone give me a more specific guide for what I'm looking for? Are the logs in the zip file I posted? unfortunately I have trouble opening it. The console has been res...

Re: GO button locked

Forgot to add... reboot corrected the problem again, but as before, would not shutdown normally... I got "program is not responding" popup, then BSOD. Hard shutdown and restart and it worked normally.
Is this consistent with a hardware fault? If it is locked in a loop, restarting interrupts it?
