Re: C21 processing.........

hey MZM welcome to the forum! Off the top of my head I can't think of anything specific, but my first thought was to get Report.net off of http://www.strandlighting.com (Products>Dimming&Distro>C21>Downloads, it's 8th from the top). I think it should work since you have the C21 processors, put that ...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

In my efforts find a solution i have come across another tidbit that needs clarification. What does "Default Color Space" in the General Tab of Show Option do? it was my understanding, and hence why i thought it might be a solution to the issue, that it made RGB the "Default" color space. But unfort...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

Unfortunately, gooze, the whole reason the installation bought the Strand system was to implement the Rack Palette's color FX engine. and patching the channels one by one is not only a bit much, there's 192 CK's on the job, but it nixes the Color engine entirely, and thus the need for the Strand Sys...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

Taine I hope i'm over analyzing it, but here's what i've found so far: There is no way as of this post to use a three submasters to actively mix RGB, or any color set at all. period. i would love to be wrong because it would solve my issues on this installation. I don't think i'm over analyzing the ...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

Taine expresses it very well. and i would argue we are closer than you would think, since we do have the functionality of altering each parameter, with the wheels, or holding S2 and the mouse wheel, etc, etc. all we need to do is link that functionality somehow to a Submaster. Hell, it could actuall...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

i think i said it wrong, what i was comparing was the 100 series and the Generic RGB patch. the 100 would just have three channels and you could bring them up each independently with a slider for each color from 0% to 100% and mix the three together, so far the pallete just can't do this. :) And the...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

Well the "no red channel" is kind of a grey area, especially with the Generic RGB, when the "Red" is one full Output. and the work around on the link Robert provided kinda alludes to making it a channel to get around it. The concern I have is MAKING the client use the color picker, application be da...

Re: Color Mixing With Subs

I see what you guys are saying on the other post, but isn't that over-complicating a simple operation? I think i've stumbled across a programming item. From the looks of it, it seems that RGB space isn't actually RGB space. I thought I would try patching the Generic RGB fixture instead of the CK, si...

Color Mixing With Subs

I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to mix colors using a simple 3 Sub RGB setup. I have a group of LED fixtures that I want my client to simply mix the Red, Green and Blue channels against each other using a separate Sub for each color. I took the simplest route I could think of, bring Red to f...

Open Palette and Vision.net

I'm curious what it would take, and or the possibility of using Open Palette directly with Vision.net. I know the integration between the Palette software and Vision.net exists, that's kinda where this come from. In regards to the V.net touchscreens, since we can already have the "Palette Tab" on th...
