Re: (HTML JS) mote lite - webapp remote

Hey all. \ the only fixed ip address that we are using is the one on the console. the Symbol router we have is set up for DHCP. we know that the address was full and the .js file was changed correctly as we could use the associated WYG pc that's hooked up to open the webapp in firefox. it's just the...

Re: Scroll Lock Auto Release

I like that idea. I would say that since Blind is kind of it's own programming environment, the Scroll Lock should be addded to the list of things that Live and Blind remember independently of each other. if that makes sense.

Re: (HTML JS) mote lite - webapp remote

So i have a question from myself and Alex Fabozzi, two semi-nerds with limited programming knowledge, about getting this up and running. we put it on my LPVL i have here in the office, and we got it working with the connected pc through firefox, so we know the program is working. we couldn't get it ...

Re: 10.6.2 Knockout softkey

Bob Going and I were working on the Beta last week, is there a reason the knockout key only works on attribute families and not specific attributes? it seems odd when you can call our a specific attribute like Color A, but then have it knock out the entire color family.

Re: RFU apps for iphone

i think i used the wrong word, i didn't "scalable" as in size of the content, i think modular is a better word(scalable as far as functionality). having a "Remote Program" that you could select which control features you would like to use would be pretty cool. the from that program could sprout BOTH...

Re: RFU apps for iphone

Kuni, That's exactly the point Bob Going and I arrived at chatting about this in the office yesterday. Basically i agree with you completely, in this conversation parts of it are getting further away from RFU functionality, and much closer to remote programming interface suggestions(my tablet commen...

Re: RFU apps for iphone

Alan, I'm with you on all of your points. especially when you take a look at the direction of emerging techs like the CrunchPad or the rumored iTablet giving us even more to play with as far as real estate and functionality that we could ever get with an iPhone. it just makes the browser based appro...

Re: RFU apps for iphone

i'm a little confused by all of this iPhone talk, can't tom's little Open Palette app work on the iPhone? i thought it could since it's browser based. That's why i think what Tom has come up with is a much better option in one word: "Future-Proof". it solves Matt's excellent point about hardware com...

Re: Attributes in Part Cues

Thanks guys! I agree with you that the timing columns are a much more efficient way of running your cues, especially timing columns with Part Cues. that's usually the way I sell the independent timing, that it almost gets rid of the need for part cues. I only asked because i was asked, and i did it ...

Attributes in Part Cues

I had an interesting question from a designer last week. is there a way to assign different attributes of the same fixture to different part cues? i.e. in cue 10 if you wanted the intensity to run in Part C but the Color to Run in Part F?
