Re: External control

Brian: Confusion over inputs. The opto 22 note obviously refers to physical inputs. I am getting IP inputs from a Medialon show controller. I am using the IP protocol because the inputs dont necessarity come in order (otherwise smpte would be a better way) We do have well over 1000 commands. The IP ...

Re: External control

If you make more than 255 variables the system will crash immediately. I could not open the program on the system machine after that, I had to open it off-line on my laptop and erase several variables (I probobly over did it) It is understandable though, who would need that many variables? of course...

Re: External control

I have used opto22 with great success. I wonder why you brought that up though when we need 1000 control points, is there something new and huge about opto 22? Let me know.

Re: macros and timed sequences

Macros do not support waits and delays in their sequences. I have made it a habit to make a cusheet called "sequences" that stores all of the timed macros sequences. Call the cues from a variable macro. Name the variable like "lamp off seq 20" That way you'll know that the action is taking place in ...

Re: Update* causing problems with other active cuelists

The all cuesheet is controlled via macros like this {HC.CueListGotoAndExecuteFollows('all', 32);} in a cuesheet called LONG. Each cue in long has a macro that calls "all" (I did this because many cuesheets call "all" in different circumstances.) If I update a cue in all or any other cuesheet, all wi...

Re: Update* causing problems with other active cuelists

I have a cue sheet called "all" that is controlled by 2 other cuesheets, depending on the situation. If either of the controller cuesheets are active and I update a cue in "all", "all" will goto a cue that is the next cue on the controller cue sheet, it will not stay in the cue that I just updated. ...

External control

I needed a way to receive over 1000 external control signals. With a few trys I found that I could use the same commands that I use when I make a Web based magic sheet with IP commands. Use {HC.VariableSet('variable page','varible name or order',1)!0D!0A} The !0D!0A is a carriage return/line feed. D...

Re: Live display options/modes

I have to jobs with 70 to 125 cuesheets. I would very much like to know which cuesheet(s) are running the channel. Is it possible to have cuesheets that only show the channels that are used in the cuesheet? Could you make a global knowckout for a channel to get it out of a cuesheet? How about a chan...
