Momentary stoppage of effects

We are currently programming for a concert coming up in our venue and need some assistance. We have a cue with a couple effects in them; color chase, intensity chase, movement effects. We need to be able to stop these effects with a momentary button press. Think of highlighting the fixtures and pres...

Re: 10.8.2 Effects on subs

Problem is still present in the 10.8.3 OLE. I can't upgrade our console to try it out on it yet.

Are you using at least some of the same fixtures in these effects?
No, the effects use different fixtures. Effect1 was a cyc chase, Effect2 was a Full Stage Color Wash chase, Effect3 was a FOH chase, and Effect4 was a chase using our moving head fixtures.

10.8.2 Effects on subs

We have a Strand Palette Classic (Silver) running 10.8.2 We're having a problem 'playing back' some effects on our submasters(affects virtual subs too). I recorded four square wave wraps separately onto four separate submasters (17,18,19,22). If you bring them up individually they work just fine. Ho...

Re: BIOS Passsword

Yeah I wasn't going to try putting a password on windows, I don't want to screw up the software. I'll try the bios thing on Monday.

BIOS Passsword

There is now a need to password protect the console where I work to prevent unauthorized access. Since our console (classic palette II silver) has XPE, I don't think you can add a user password in windows. Is the bios capable of having a password to prevent booting into the OS? I can do this with de...

Everytime after that it doesn't until you boot the console up again. Picture to illistrate. Red dot is mouse. *The picture i...

Re: GO button locked

Our today stopped responding like yours did the second time. It seemed to have come back up after a hard restart (ours didn't shutdown either). You can run the go button if you have a mouse, did enable the playback buttons above the cue list. It saved me during our last show.
