Re: Definable Pan and Tilt Limits

I'm not saying that dealing in the Universal Abstract Control model wouldn't be easier. The last time I had to do this I took the fixture to where i wanted the max, switched to patch by output and saw what value in % I needed to set it for. Was pretty easy.

Re: Definable Pan and Tilt Limits

If you go to patch by output and double click on the setting for the Pan Hi (or Tilt Hi) you can set a min and max there that should do exactly what you want to do. I've used this before and it worked great!

Scripted Status window changes

I was wondering if there was a way to change the status window (typically between Status and Playbacks) using a script so that I can put it in a macro. I tried the HC.Status but it didn't work. Re: 10.6.1 FX

Also I found out last night that REM DIM does not affect the running effect. Would be nice if it did. If I'm trying to REM DIM to a channel or a group it is very unlikely that I want to leave the effect running.

Re: Movement Effect Can-Can BPM

Finding an hour between dance recitals is tough at this time of year. 600+ cues in a 3 hour show this week. 20 hours of programming time, 16 hours of rehearsal time and 3 performances makes for a busy week. Next week isn't much better.

It's a little thing, but how about deleting the old files when you upload a new one.

Great tutorial and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more in the future!

Of course that was added in 10.5.26 and we are still running 10.5.25. Not to mention the fact that the effect in question is not running in it's own cue list.

Re: Movement Effect Can-Can BPM

Rather then a "can-can" effect you could have just placed a sine, saw, square, etc. on the tilt attribute rather then using the "can-can" function. It might have been a little easier then trying to control the effect.
