Re: (webapp) m(ini)RFU - V2.1 Available

Matt: As I asked in another post... what palette version are you running? Anything below 10.8.2009(ish...) and it will do nothing as you describe. You need at least 10.8.2011 for it to function correctly (Gary sorted out a few issues in new web server and the lua scripting that I make use of). **** ...

Re: 10.8.2 Effects on subs

(without checking your show file...)
Are you using at least some of the same fixtures in these effects?

Re: Palette VL M Keys

Palette consoles use the M keys as (I believe their original intention) macro triggers - Coresponding to the first 12 variables.

Hold Alt (not present on Light Palette consoles) and hit corresponding S key for the green row.

Re: Syncing Digidesign Venue Profile and Palette VL Cues

You could try Remote Midi Mapper - which is my attempt at circumventing strands problem with providing generic USB midi drivers.

Re: (webapp) m(ini)RFU - V2.1 Available

Fixtures change to the default colour space when set by HC.AttributeSetValue. There doesn't appear to be a way to set the colour space remotely. http://www.strand-dev.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2286&p=11244 You should only set to RGB if that's your default colour space. Not ideal, but will have...

Re: (webapp) m(ini)RFU - V2.1 Available

HAHA!!! I don't believe it - I must have made that package 6 times before I got all the right files!!! And still got it wrong. Blame it on the sound guy! I didn't expect the Open Palette hourglass to be found so quickly!!! :ugeek: Yeah - you should get that lost connection everytime! the mrfu.js fil...

Re: Look macros

Awesome!
I had a play here and it wouldn't go
There will be a separator after the word

Robert wrote some better code for this, but I can't find it - here's what I use

Code: Select all

a = HC.AttributeGetValue('live', '1', 'gb Mode')
n = #a
while n > 0 and a:find("^%s", n) do n = n - 1 end

a = a:sub(1, n)

Re: (webapp) m(ini)RFU - V2.0a

I found bugs in both the colour picker and position pad when i ran it up on another console this afternoon. Position Pad not sending correct values on a touch device - FIXED I had thought the console would revert to CMY when adjusted from the remote. Turns out it reverts to the default color space. ...

Re: Look macros

This is something I've been to meaning to chat to the good folk at horizon about. Some atrributes appear not accesable. Colo(u)r and Gobo 2 come to mind. Others are a bit funny - Strobe can not return a value ('Strobe+V'), but will return the display text (such as 'Open') with 'Strobe'. Colour A (as...
