Re: Stop/back and follow times

Just discovered something new about the Stop/Back+ Shift while Gary Douglas was working on my consoles today. I am running a Strand Light Pallet Live (48 Look handles, 12 Play back handles) with version 10.6.4 software (I'm not upgrading to 10.6.6 but waiting for 10.8.). I program 4 cues on the firs...

Look + Look syntax

I have a Look selection syntax suggestion. At the moment (v.10.6.4) the syntax "Look# thru Look#" works. The Syntax "Look # + #" selects the content of the named Look and then a channel number. The syntax "Look# + Look#" can not be used (the second press of the Look button does not register on the c...

Re: looks on playbacks lp vl

I think there is some confusion on this. I would like to see the Playback faders (when turned into Look faders) to be numbered higher than the pre-existing look faders. Example of how it currently works on a Light Palette Live (48 Look faders and 12 Playback faders): - Default is Look Faders 1-48 ru...

Patch by Output v.10.6.4

Hey all, Two questions about Patch by Output (my preferred method). 1) When patching I go to type "321 @ 38 *" but accidentally type "321 @ 2". Oops, wrong key, let me backspace before hitting Enter. When I hit the "<--" key once, it deletes the whole command line. Is this as Designed? It becomes te...

Re: RFU 3.1 Remdim

Hey all, I've done a bit of testing with my RFU now that I'm running v.3.1. This is what I've found (assuming "ON" level is set to 80%): Test 1: - 101 @ 8* (Channel 101 comes on at 80%) - 102 Rem Dim (channel 101 goes out, channel 102 comes on at 80%) - 103 Rem Dim (channel 103 comes on at 80%, chan...

Re: mailing list?

Personally I would rather see a "Known Bugs and Work around" on this forum rather than with release notes. If the Known Bugs were here on these forums we would have the most up to date info and work arounds for them. What needs to happen is to find a way to put them all in one place on this forum. A...

Re: v.10.6.4 Swap Pan/ Tilt

It could be. I would like to note that the Swap Pan/ Tilt worked with my fixtures before I upgraded to v.10.6.4. That leads me to believe this is a new bug. Also, the fixtures are acting like the have a bad profile patched to them (pan zips to extreme and then won't move). It seems to me that the Sw...

v.10.6.4 Swap Pan/ Tilt

Hey all, I've have notice that the Swap Pan/ Tilt function in the "Patch" "Fixtures" Settings column is performing oddly. The column displays correctly but the fixture behavior, in regards to Pan/ Tilt only, becomes erratic. When the Swap Pan/ Tilt is active on a fixture the Pan/ Tilt snap to one ex...

I believe jmac is leaving the unpatched channels in order to keep the visual display in the order of their liking.
I have noticed that the RFU software will skip deleted channels... half of the time.
