Re: channel grid white border

Re: lightpalette owner question

I'm sure I saw something in a recent entry about selecting a look in the Looks display then pressing Blind to display the contents of that look. Of course I tried this only to discover that it must just be on someone's wish list. But that also would be a great feature and taking it one step further ...

Re: lightpalette owner question

I understand now. You're looking for a key(like the LIve key) that changes the left-hand window to Looks. I agree. This would be a nice thing to have. Oddly enough, in Palette Help it actually shows a Looks key that does exactly what you are asking for. Now, assuming that the VL keypads are the same...

Re: lightpalette owner question

This is another place where keystroke macros would work well. If I understand Mat's question, he would like to have one button that would put him into Blind and ask for a Look number. So the keystroke macro would be "Blind, rel, rel, load, look" then save to a macro button called Sub Display. Bingo you ...

It would be nice if this worked with busking ie. uncheck intensity then press the bump button for the submaster.

Re: Why is it so hard, to make a good lighting desk???

Wouldn't recording Intensity only to a submaster accomplish the same thing? I often set up my wash fixtures on several subs for quick access to different colours but I record these subs without intensity then record another sub with intensity only. This allows optimum control ie. you can have full c...

Re: Why is it so hard, to make a good lighting desk???

H How to you record them, that with a ML only the intensity is going down and all other atts. are holding their values?? This is very important in the theater. Peter Hi Peter. Have you tried just making the submaster inhibitive? If I understand your question correctly you just want to be able to co...

Re: So many questions, that probably have simple answers.

The effects thing can be tricky but, on the advice of Brian Evans, I've started using Record Delta(Record Live also seems to work) to re-record cues after killing the effect. This seems to work well with Gooze's suggestion of re-setting the values of the effect attributes and also works when stoppin...

Suggestions for RFU improvement

Where should this sort of dialogue be directed? Is an upgrade to the RFU software in the works? I'm currently running v. 3.0.
