Disk error on power-up

When we powered up today we got black screen and "Disk Error press any key to continue". Then "Please insert system disk and press enter". Not good. When I opened the hood I noticed that there was life in the USB devices. So on a hunch that maybe one of them was getting in the way, I powered down an...

Re: thank you 10.6.4 /ETA: It's not fixed

I too am having a lot of trouble with this. It's really embarrassing when you think you're typing 91 thru 100 full and what you get is 1 thru 100 at full - no subtlety there. I'm wondering if this could even be partially related to hardware ie. the keypad or to certain processors. I believe my board...

Re: USB DMX IN

do the fixture intensities have amber coloured levels? Yes does port 4's LED go red? Unfortunately I can't check that right now - we're in show mode - about to open the house is there any correlation between fades on the touring desk and the stage (or is it always garbage)? Didn't try fading from c...

Re: USB DMX IN

If any 'thing' (e.g., Fixture, Look, Output) has a DMX INPUT mapped to it (S6-Input), that entire port is changed from an Output to an Input. If you have a LP with a Quad DMX card, that port's Status LED will be red. If you have a LP with a Dual DMX card, it won't work. If you have a Palette series...

10.6.2001 Strange Behaviour

Can someone figure out why, in this show file, channels 703 & 704 are exhibiting such strange behaviour? If you go to cue 66 by pressing the Go button then use the arrow key to go back 1 cue, all the attributes drop out. Similarily if you start at cue 64 then jump to cue 66 the attributes drop out. ...

Re: DMX In

I tried using DMX in via a Shownet node yesterday for the band Metric. They only had one universe available for conventionals and had to run mine and theirs on the same universe. Unfortunately their dimmers were addressed 1 thru 100 and my dimmers that they were using were also in the same address r...

Re: DMX In

I'd like to be able to run touring consoles through my board like I did on my 550 - instead of plugging them straight into my dimmers. This allows me to manage what dimmers the touring show has access to. We have many circuits that, if inadvertently powered by a touring console that had dimmers patc...

DMX In

Where are we at with DMX in via a DMX port on the console(as opposed to via Shownet)?
