Re: Windows 10 and Palette

Alright, so I did some testing with Windows 10. The good news is that it works for the most part. You'd have to do the same procedures as you'd have to do with windows 8 (install the patch from the Strand website for the two .ocx files and install your usb panel drivers allowing unsigned drivers). T...

UPDATE Softkeys

Maybe it is far from possible anymore this close to the final curtain of the palette software... But I try anyway! Would it be very difficult to make the ALT softkeys 1 through 4 for the Update function into radio buttons? That means that if you choose to update palettes then cue, you choose once an...

Re: point cue

Check your keyboard language/lay-out. Probably only works for the US guys!

Timed events bug

There is a timed events bug where an event never gets triggered: I set my timed event to trigger at 00:00:00 (midnight) with a repeat of 6 and a time in between of 01:00:00. Before midnight it says that the last missed event was at 6am. (correct), but at midnight nothing happens and from then on it ...

Re: Color Coding on Display

Hi, This depends on which basic mode you choose (Light palette Classic (EU), Light Palette Classic (US), etc.) during setup (or in the system settings). I usually set-up the desk to have the colours mean: Blue for levels going up Green for levels going down Magenta for levels staying the same (Blue ...

Re: Windows 10 and Palette

Since I am using the Palette software (with the panels) on a Windows PC (Mac running Bootcamp), I am especially interested how the USB drivers for the Palette VL panels are holding up. I had to install them with a little trick on Windows 8.1, but on that system everything is working fine now. PS. St...

Re: Invert zoom doesn't work in patch by fixture

Is there anything to say about this bug? Is anyone able to reproduce it?

Re: HC.FixturePark

It seems that the example script (the one that you get when you insert a script) needs to adapted to reflect this (rather counter-intuitive) behaviour.

Invert zoom doesn't work in patch by fixture

This issue is twofold. First of all there is an error in the fixture library for the Clay paky Alpha profile 700. The zoom apperas to be inverted. If I want to invert the zoom parameter in patch to correct the issue, nothing happens. It doesn't make any difference when I type: [1][S1 - Inverts]{S6 -...

Re: Connect console to Wysiwyg Perform

I just discovered that Shownet does work, but only on the same computer (ip 127.0.0.0). This is quite limited functionality...
