Re: timecode from an audio file
Take a look at the Visual Timecode Editor. This can be found from the Options Pull down in the Cue List Window. It may give you the "scrub" features you are looking for.

Re: NEO Terminology for Referenced Groups
Bobby,
I lean toward "palettes". This leaves "generic palettes" as a special case of the broader concept.
I am sure when we discuss them we will use many of the other terms to help relate them to other consoles.

Re: Submaster Page
How about something like: for the out of sync handle, that is the handle that was up with levels before the change, if you could hold some magic key down while taking the slider to zero leaving the levels up? Once the slider is a zero it is on the "right" page. This solution does run the risk of lig...

Re: Clock Battery..?
Which version of the Palette to you have? Many of the models have a soldered in battery for CMOS. This is something our service center could assist you with.

Re: v1.1 Software Release Candidate
One could argue that Bump Down is a valid response. This would imply a higher priority to the bump button than to the submaster slider. Hmmm. I believe you will find the Palette will Bump Down.
I can see a good argument either way.

Re: Cue List "Select Cue" Macro
Brian's idea sounds good but why bother with the link.
Just sync the two list with the effects in the point cues. No linking or follows. The sync will move you along on the whole numbers. Go will trigger the next point cue. Be careful tracking between whole and point cues.

Re: Shownet Universes
Pathport and e1.31 are actually multicast. The ports and addresses used are well documented elsewhere. Originally artnet was broadcast but there are unicast enhancements in some products - not Palette. Some artnet gear will restrict the up address range allowed. Shownet is indeed broadcast. It is li...
