Re: Submaster functionality

That is an interesting dilema. The concept of the sub at 50% and the channel at full is a bit arbitary, as the same could be said if you had the Sub at only 10%, would it record it at 1000% or even 1% at 10000% Plainly this is a special case where the Sub <100%. I my view, the issue is not the level...

Re: FX question

Mat, Bump Chases should do it. Here is how I would do it: 1) Create a New Look Page called say My Effect 2) Record the steps as looks in that page Now in Sub Page 1, We record the levels of these very same lights at say 10%, but also introduce a Bump Chase effect working on the Look Page "My Effect"...

Re: German Keyboard Layout

Kuni, The access to the Keyboard options should be in there. You access it by going to the Shell display. From there hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and press the Time Setting option. This should open the Keyboard options. Please note that as yet the Palette OS is not fully internationalised,...

Re: witch channel play on a piece of a Qlist

Pierick,

I will be in Paris Monday/Tuesday so we can look at this if you are there.

The syntax of

Cue x thru y * might do the job, as that should select the channels that belong in that range of cues. It might not get the tracked channels though.

Re: Channels To Digital Outputs

Yes... the "Variable Page" patch of B3 would be refering to Vision Net stations in room 3, the "Variable Order" number will refer to the console button from the Vision Net Station. The attached screen shot from Vision Net Designer shows 8 buttons, each with a different number, but belonging to Room ...

Re: Going to backup

Phil, This is very similar to the way the 510 took over from a 520. The basic premise is that the backup has to be sure that the main has really died. Both the GeniusPro and Palette OS's have a time out period to verify that the main is really dead. In both cases this time out is around 7 seconds. T...

Re: Running multiple cue lists

Simon, This is a new feature that comes inthe 10.4.x series code. In the Cue List properties you have an option of "Cue List Synchronisation" You make one Cue list a Master and tell the other cue list that it is master by the other. Then in this way, comon cue numbers are run when you hit the Go. If...
