Re: FX question - is it possible

I would say it is one FX per attribute because I have built FX for customers by applying an FX to Red and a different FX to Blue with Green staying static.

Re: MQ - outputs going off

You may not have a channel key with the Marquee because the channel authorization was often stored on the output card. When the outputs go offline do you notice that your hardware no longer works; such as when you bring up a submaster, nothing changes on the screen? Depending on the generation of yo...

Re: 10.6.6 Apollo right arms getting lost

Have you tried addressing all of your units to the same address and see if they operate the same? If they all don't work exactly the same when addressed to the same address, you have an issue with DMX distribution or the fixtures themselves.

Re: Palette OSv10 User Manual

Instead of printing the entire manual, I recommend printing the quick start guide under help. If you print it double sided and laminate it, it can stay safely with the console for enough information to get anyone going on the console. For more quick in depth help, the help file is indexed so you can...

Re: GO button locked

Yes, when I say reboot, it is the same as John talking about connecting/disconnecting. Classic Palette Playback 3/273/198415/1. The last digit is one meaning that since the console has been running, the tile has not rebooted. Every time you restart the software or console, the count will begin again...

Re: GO button locked

An easier way to see if your hardware is rebooting, as opposed to finding your system text log, is to check hardware status under help. The window that pops up will show you all tiles attached. After a description of the tile, such as playback, you will see #/#/#/#. The final number is the number of...

Re: 10.6.4 Scrwed up my board

It appears that you have one USB tile that works and two that don't. Try unplugging all of the tiles and boot with only one of the non-functioning tiles plugged in. Rinse and repeat with the other non working tile. Isolating the tiles can force them to take the firmware. There are some other ways to...

Re: 0255699 Pallet Playback ver 0.3.7.21 reboot 2 errors 2

If you have a network system instead of DMX out, you can bypass the hardware tile completely by using the mouse and keyboard while you get the issue sorted out with your local dealer. Spacebar is "go" or you can use the playback control icons above the cue list. The icons are turned on under "Hardwa...

Re: Why is it so hard, to make a good lighting desk???

Your board is entirely still supported. 10.6.3 is designed for the whole range of Palettes from the Basic to the Lightpalette VL, including older silver desks. If you are having specific issues currently, please make them known. The developers at Horizon are very good about responding to issues.
