Re: Software version 3.6.0.55 breaks cue list independence

I need access to multiple cue lists at the same time. That's why we access them in the edit view because it's easy there to jump between cue lists and grab non-overlapping cues. Bobby steered us in that direction because we found that we couldn't put cues in the same list and keep them from altering...

Re: Software version 3.6.0.55 breaks cue list independence

OK, I think I've got that working but it leads to another challenge. Is there a way to switch between playbacks onscreen without using the popup menu? Can you show each cue list in a separate window onscreen simultaneously? Or is there a way of picking which cue list is shown in the master playback ...

Re: Software version 3.6.0.55 breaks cue list independence

How do you "put each cue list in its own playback"?

I'm surprised by your response because Bobby spent many hours working on the previous approach with us and was the one that indicated that using cue lists without initial smart blocks was the way to get the behavior we wanted.

Re: Software version 3.6.0.55 breaks cue list independence

Yes, we already went through that months ago. The cue lists in question do not have initial smart blocks and have supported ad hoc cue changes in all previous versions of the NEO software (since the time I first worked with you to get this resolved). Those same cue lists do not work the same way in ...

Software version 3.6.0.55 breaks cue list independence

Hi, We worked together quite a bit earlier this year, trying to develop a workflow that allowed cue lists that don't overlap in fixture assignments to be switched without clearing the lighting settings for other cue lists. For example, here are three cue lists: 1) Profiles - fixtures 1-8 - non-block...

Re: SHIFT key for split playback faders

Any further input on this? Is this a feature that was never implemented?

SHIFT key for split playback faders

The manual says the following with respect to "PB Master and Crossfader" mode for the split playback faders: "If you hold down [SHIFT] while manually moving a Crossfader, you can move backwards through a cue list. (i.e., the cue that has just been completed will be the pending cue, rather than the n...

Re: Indexed and continuous ranges for single wheel property?

With the GUI, you can see the areas of the range that are indexed and those that are continuous. You can carefully enter a DMX value in the area that you want without paging through unwanted DMX values. With the wheel, you have a range of indexed values and then one or more areas that expect continu...

Re: Indexed and continuous ranges for single wheel property?

OK, thanks. For now we'll restrict ourselves to using the gobo property wheels under safe/controlled circumstances. Although we have been able to use them effectively during live shows for things like color and pan/tilt, they are too unpredictable for the gobo properties on the Rogues. We'll use the...

Re: Indexed and continuous ranges for single wheel property?

I understand your suggestion. However, I'm looking for a way to avoid having the indexed range and the continuous range on the same wheel, since that will require the user to remember what parts of each wheel range are indexed and what parts are continuous. That's why I asked if it's possible to spl...
