Re: Lost Control Center

Alright I figured it out. I lost my main monitor I suppose and the control center was on the 1st output therefore I couldn't see it. I unplugged them both and hooked something up to the HDMI then switched the settings around.

What a pain to get get two monitors functioning again.

Re: Life expectency of Palette VL hardware

My VL came from the factory with major RF shielding issues in the tiles. Anything from wireless com to UHF radios sends it into a crash. The console is 3 years old and is next to useless because of it's unreliability.

Re: Issue with cues

Yeah I was talking Palette Live/VL options for programming. I've never used a 250Ml not sure what they are about.

Re: Issue with cues

You can use the park feature too. It will hold an instrument or a group of them at any level you want regardless of cue or look state. I park my house at a low level regularly during rehearsals.

Issue with cues

Essentially when you take a channel to delta or "making it red " your asking the comsole to hold that value no matter what cue state you change it to. If you want to record a new cue try rem dim it will remove all intensity values in the cue your in then record your new cue. Which will essentially b...

Thanks Bobby

Message sent to your bobbyharrelllighting address.

Just in case anybody else who comes across this thread in the future is curious. It was definitely RF interference causing the crash on the Palette VL. Our Palette live is unaffected though.

Re: Intermittent Palette LV crashing.

In fact it freezes when the radio is near the computer (behind the sub masters in the top left of your desk). This is exactly what I have observed. I am so glad that somebody has seen this before. This probably explains why it never does it to me. By practice I turn off my 2way anytime I am operati...
