Hi, USB only works with the Varilite USB to dmx converters. You could use any shownet node on Ethernet or - much cheaper - use an Enttec Ode. That converts artnet to dmx. You'd always need your Palette channel key though. I don't know if these are sold separately. I agree with all of those options....

You can do a range of channels, (1/100 @ 70, or 513/523 @ 50) but there is no accommodation for doing it by universe. Bobby, perhaps that can be put down as a request for a future release? If the channel key, tiles, and keyboard stop functioning, but you can still control with a mouse (or keyboard) plugged into the back of the console, then it is a usb hub issue.

My first step is usually to see how badly the tile is broken. Plug one of the non working tiles into a computer running xp. If it is recognized and windows asks for drivers, then the tile can be saved over the phone. If it is not recognized, then it has to come back to me for a repair.

Are you on a sub palette, or a preset 48/96?
On the preset I just checked, you are correct, left hand time fader controls scene b, right had controls scene a.
I would confirm on a my sub palette, but someone sent it away...*coughrandycough*...

This issue has been brought up again in Asia, has anyone else been able to gather more information outside of the factory? Different radio types? Chicken wire solutions? any additional field information is greatly appreciated.
